What it means
Keyword difficulty is an estimate of how competitive it may be to achieve an unpaid ranking for a search phrase. It helps you compare possible targets, but it is not a prediction of exactly where your page will rank. It also measures a different question from competition among advertisers.
An example
A phrase with a lower difficulty estimate might still be a poor choice if it concerns a product you do not sell. A relevant phrase that you can answer well may deserve investigation even when its score looks less inviting.
How this helps you in Kwordia
Use Keyword Difficulty to assess a shortlist, then inspect the actual results in SERP Analysis. Consider the quality and purpose of the competing pages and what useful contribution you can make. Use the estimate to organise your research, rather than letting it make the publishing decision for you.
